Nalsing Gad Hydropower Project is a storage project identified in the Jajarkot district by the government of Nepal to meet the current power demand and reduce the considerable power cut in the dry season by constructing a large storage project. To build a small hydropower project near the vicinity of the Nalsing Gad Hydropower project for the generation of construction power for a Nalsing Gad Hydropower Project, Nalsing Gad Hydropower Development Committee (NHPDC) procured feasibility and IEE study of the construction power project.
Taksu Khola Hydropower Project is located in Jajarkot District in the mid-western development region of Nepal in Taksu Khola a tributary of the Bheri River in the Karnali Basin. Taksu Small hydropower project is a RoR type of project located in Dalli VDC of Jajarkot District. It has an installed capacity of 7.1 MW with a design discharge of 3.25 m3/sec based on Q40 criteria and a gross head of 260.2 m.
Geographically the area lies between latitudes 28° 52' 23" N and 28° 53' 50" N and longitudes 82°26' 15” E and 82° 27' 20" E.
